- IIY INC. was created to remind women of how valuable they are and how critical it is for us to invest in ourselves. When we invest in ourselves we are better equipped to handle life's challenges and support our loved ones. When we gather purposefully there is a power unleashed that builds us up, nourishes our souls and gives us the resolve we need to create the changes we desire in our lives. When we truly experience the power of our individual and collective womanhood there is no stopping us.
As mothers, wives, daughters, providers, friends and the many other roles we take on as women, we often give so much to others and forget to invest in ourselves. Many times our dreams, hobbies and 'me time' activities fall to the wayside while we work to make sure everything is good at home, work and with loved ones. The emotional drain is sometimes not felt until a personal crisis hits. It is then that we realize that we have made so many sacrifices that we've lost a part of ourselves. We begin existing day to day and not living our best lives.

Meet Our President
Darlene has 25 + years of experience in program development. She is the author of Jordan's First Day of School and freelance writer. As Editor and Chief of Voices Children's Magazine & Journalism Program, she prepared youth to interview the likes of Congressman Elijah Cummings, Pattie Labelle and Musiq Soulchild and create a full color magazine which graced the shelves of Barnes and Noble and many small newsstands. She has been featured in the Amsterdam News as a 21st Century Woman, interviewed on several radio and news shows and highlighted for her role in creating Invest In You Inc. Since her diagnosis with Sjogrens Syndrome she has been an advocate for health, and created the 'Your Health Matters' Initiative to bring health awareness to the forefront. Mrs. Mungin is a sought out speaker and motivator who's passion is empowering women and youth. Follow her health advocacy initiative on facebook at yhm4u.
